The main reason behind travelling to Vietnam was to take part of a big family reunion in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet. My mum’s cousin booked everything – hotel, restaurants and things to do, so there was very little for me to even think about!
At 6.30 am we were picked up by bus and the drive was about 4 hours (including a quick break) from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne.
We stayed at Sea Links Beach Hotel which is, according to the website, Vietnam’s first all-resort complex integrated in Sea Links City. It offers 188 rooms and suites (I would call them apartments!), four pools, restaurants, spa, golf course and a playground for kids. The hotel is a quick walk from the beach and a 5-10 minute ride from the city centre where you will find plenty of restaurants and bars.
Our apartment had three double bedrooms with a big balcony overlooking the sea, modern kitchen with all amenities available, flat screen TVs in all rooms and two bathrooms.
Views from the pool, overlooking the seaOur apartment had a open plan hallway, kitchen and living room. That’s my younger cousin right there 🙂
I stayed in one of the bedrooms with mum. I liked the minimal, white and dark brown design A dark brown border behind the tv. I thought this was pretty clever! It’s a great idea if you don’t want a full feature wall but still want a little something, especially without any art on the walls
Minimal white wardrobe with automatic lights, swoon. The biggest bedroom with ensuite had a padded soft beige feature wall behind the bed
The ensuite was beautiful! Massive bathtub, shower and the longest bathroom table. The last bedroom was pretty similar to mine and mums.
I’ll write some pros and cons about the hotel in a later post.
