Hidden gems in Bermondsey

After visiting the White Cube we walked around the area and found some pretty amazing interior shops. Most was second hand/antique and prices varied quite a lot!
The London Second Hand Store had everything from beds to desks, bowls, candle holders and book shelves.
Look at that two seated armchair?! So amazing.
Random bits and bobs everywhere
Beautiful carafes and glassesA stunning wooden world globe! Would look amazing in a modern home, don’t you think? I love the mix of modern and second hand.

After the second hand store we walked further down the road called Ropewalk and found the Maltby Street Market. We unfortunately arrived when all the food stalls were closing, but I can’t wait to go back on a dry and sunny day!
We found another interior gem called Lassco. They had the most amazing lights and antique furniture on display mixed with new designer pieces.

So many knobs!!Olive oil, jam and pasta products from Greece

Beautiful sailmen-inspired garments and fabrics for sewing
My current obsession; candles! If only you could smell this! Reminds me of my Jo Malone candle that also has hints of sandalwood and musk – only cheaper.
This baby was £10 and burn time is approx 45 hours, sounds good to me!

I’d highly recommend taking the short walk from London Bridge or tube to Bermondsey station and wander around. They have plenty of cafes and restaurants to make a day out of it!
