Hope you’ve all had a great weekend 🙂 Let’s see what I got up to on Friday.
It was Hannah’s birthday last weekend but because she was travelling we decided to celebrate her on Friday. It started early with a boozy lunch at Cannick Tapps.I ate lovely shepherds pie with gravy and Hannah ate a fish pieAfter work I popped by Nadia’s hair salon Jonning & Riashi to get a little trim. I actually asked her to cut more but she refused to, haha! I would’ve probably regretted it anyway and that’s why she’s the best. I’ll post before and after in a bit 🙂
After my appointment I met the girls back at work and we walked over to Coq d’Argent to have dinner. It’s the same restaurant where I organised the office party so we kind of knew what we wanted and ordered starters and wine.
And later on main courses. Shannon had a tuna steak and me and Hannah had Sirloin Steak, so yummy. The food was incredibly filling and we couldn’t fit dessert so decided to have a cocktail each. Mine was called red velvet and I had no idea what it was.. Turns out it comes in a little tea pot, haha! Both Hannah and Shannon thought it was pretty suitable. After our amazing dinner we popped back to work to change and then headed off to Libertine.
Grey dress from Maison Martin Margiela

Hannah had mentioned earlier in the week that she wanted to go to a club and dance, so I decided to try out the new app Clubbable. You put together a group of friends and promoters sends you “offers” to the clubs you are interested in. It’s a great idea for those who don’t have contacts at these clubs or newly arrived Londoners looking to party.
We decided to try out Libertine as we heard the music was good, but we obviously had some issues getting in. I quickly realised that THIS is why I don’t go out to these clubs anymore, haha. I’m too “old” to stand in the cold and queue!
When we finally managed to get in we got some drinks and the music changed from house (ugh!) to rnb (yay!) 🙂Had such a lovely night with these girls! 🙂
