On Monday we woke up bright and early and the sun was finally shining! As some of you know I absolutely love breakfast and especially hotel breakfasts. I would genuinely pay to eat breakfast at a hotel any day of the week.. if I could afford it, haha. It’s something about having lots of choices.. yum. After breakfast we watched an episode or two of House of Cards (if you haven’t seen it, please do!) and I got ready to meet Anja again for lunch, this time without the boys.
We ate at Scandic City who has a big lunch buffet for less than £10, great value for money!
After lunch I bought some kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) and walked to my friend Charlotte’s apartment. She wasn’t feeling too well but I couldn’t miss out on catching up with her. After our fika (a concept in Swedish culture with the basic meaning “to have coffee”, often accompanied with pastries or sandwiches) I met G and walked to Värmlands Museum where we saw an exhibition by Dennis Hopper, actor, producer and photographer.
Unfortunately the rest of the museum was closed off due to renovations, but I’d highly recommend going there when it’s all open again.
