Pub dinner at The Clanfield Tavern

Whilst driving from Oxford to Kelmscott we became super hungry (as we didn’t finish the ice cream..) so we popped by some local pubs to see if they served food. Two of them didn’t but were very kind to recommend The Clanfield Tavern!
I have to say.. people outside of London are so damn friendly. Everywhere we went they welcomed us with open arms (quite literally) and were curious as to why we were there, where we were going etc. I love non-London people, haha.
The Clanfield Tavern was super cozy with quirky interior and friendly staff and their menu was simple, but we ordered from the specials board 🙂bynoelle-foodie-the-clanfield-tavernLamb shank with mash and gravy. The good, lumpy, real potato kind of mash, you know? And super delicious gravy.bynoelle-foodie-the-clanfield-tavern2G ate a beef stroganoff with ricebynoelle-foodie-the-clanfield-tavern3
After dinner we continued our drive to Kelmscott!
