There’s a new restaurant in town guys! Where the pancakes are started as a pop up but has recently moved into their permanent space at Flat Iron Square near London bridge.
Whilst waiting for my friend Emelie I walked around the square and was surprised I’d never been before!
They serve savoury and sweet buttermilk yummy pancakes and TRUST ME you will spend a good 10 minutes deciding what you want to eat..
The restaurant was full when we arrived but we managed to get a table after 20 minutes.
I knew I wanted to try both savoury and sweet so managed to convince my friend Emelie to share a sweet one as dessert 🙂
My “main” was a Eggs Royale pancake and it was absolutely delicious! Emelie had a vegetarian platter with gluten free pancakesAnd for dessert we shared this masterpiece called Hummingbird: cinnamon tossed pineapple, house cream, lime syrup and zest, coconut, pomegranate and toasted almonds aaaahhhhhhh so good! We stayed and talked for a quite a while so when I wanted to take pictures of the interior it was already dark outside, oops! These last pictures are taken just before closing hence the empty areas but look at the lights! Aren’t they stunning?
I am definitely returning to Where the pancakes are soon and can’t wait to try everything else on the menu, haha.
