Tate Modern, snacks and pizza

Tate modern finally opened up their new addition in June and wowzers, it is stunning. Me and G decided to go on Monday (instead of carnival, haha) and I think we spent more time looking and admiring the architecture more than the actual exhibitions inside. I’d highly recommend going if you’re into art/architecture and if not, just go to see the beautiful views of london!Quick break – fellas, always bring snacks, your lady will appreciate it very muchHUMAN HAIRDID I SAY HUMAN HAIR?Everything in this room.. human hair.We finished off our lovely day with these delicious cripsy pizzas at The Gowlett in Peckham. Service was absolutely terrible but the pizzas made up for it. I’d probably go again if I was ever in the area but y’all know me, I want the whoooole experience to be good.

The perfect catch up spot

On thursday after work and gym I met up with my amazingly cool friend Albi, who works in Westminster. We bought some food from Tesco and walked down the river to a small pier with a lovely view. He’d been travelling for 3 weeks so we had lots to talk about!
Look at these views?! Pair that with warm weather and good conversations and you’ve got yourself a perfect evening.

Saturday at Gymbox and Hyde Park

On Saturday I met up with my coolest friend Albi and he is a member at the coolest gym in town called Gymbox and had a guest pass for me! yay! Gymbox basically looks like a club with machines and free weights.. it even has a dj during the weekdays?! After a good upper body session we had lunch at BenugoNext stop: Hyde Park. We walked all the way from Victoria to Serpentine (inside Hyde Park) not really knowing how far it actually was..

Maybe I’m being a complete prude but I am not swimming in that water ever again, haha. It was green and filled with millions of tiny lovely algae particles.. At one point both me and Albi felt something touch our legs.. Eeeeeewwwww. The good thing is that there was cold showers with clean water so after our swim we were able to wash it all off, phew.
After our little adventure we were joined by Matt and we all had an early dinner together 🙂IMG_3413
Apparently we were joined by a pokemon as well.. 😀

Magnum Pleasure Store

Completely forgot about this!! Last week I met up with Nigel and he took me to Magnum‘s new ice cream bar on South Molton Street. Holy moly we were both in heaven. You basically get to pick chocolate or vanilla ice cream – I chose vanillaThen add 3 toppings – I chose cinnamon coated nuts, white chocolate flakes and caramel crisp ballsThen you got to choose what sauce to dip it in – we both chose one coat of milk chocolate, one coat of peanut butter sauce (omg omg omg) and one last coat of chocolateThe result!!!I couldn’t get a decent picture taken simply because I had to eat it.
It’s not the cheapest ice cream in the world BUT it was actually worth it! Go go go!
