Queen B

03/07/2016

I’ve got a BANGING hangover from hell but oh did I have fun yesterday! Me and Luis went to see Beyonce at Wembley Stadium and not only that, we had VIP tickets. We met at green park station and travelled together with thousands other bey-clad fans to Wembley Park and walked to the stadium. Once there I obviously had issues with my ticket etc but once that was sorted we walked into a super busy lounge/restaurant area. We had drinks,…

Sunshine and museum visit

22/06/2016

On Monday we woke up bright and early and the sun was finally shining! As some of you know I absolutely love breakfast and especially hotel breakfasts. I would genuinely pay to eat breakfast at a hotel any day of the week.. if I could afford it, haha. It’s something about having lots of choices.. yum.  After breakfast we watched an episode or two of House of Cards (if you haven’t seen it, please do!) and I got ready to…

Majid Jordan at Heaven, London

04/06/2016

I’ve been a fan of Majid Jordan since their first EP, which I actually prefer to their new album. On monday they performed at Heaven, under the arches by Embankment in London. We arrived pretty early cause I’m the type of person who wants to find a good spot and stay there. Because I’m so short I prefer to stand on the side, on a platform or preferably by the light/sound booth haha. Luckily my dear bf doesn’t seem to…

Nyhavn (new harbour) and more architecture

27/05/2016

On our last day in Copenhagen we decided to check out all the interior shops and nyhavn (new harbour). Unfortunately for us it was a red day and absolutely everything was closed, so upsetting! We managed to find the Danish Architecture Centre and decided to check it out. Beautiful old building. We saw the exhibition 52 weeks, 52 cities by photographer Iwan Baan. Stunning pictures from all over the world.A must. Gift shop. Found a cool orange wall and decided to have…

Vordingborg, Pate Pate and Troyboi

26/05/2016

On Saturday we woke up bright and early and had breakfast before taking the train to Vordingborg in south Denmark to visit my Auntie and cousins. I don’t have a big family, but the family that I have are spread across Europe and Asia which makes it quite hard to keep in touch (thank God for Facebook/Instagram/Skype!). We had a short and sweet tour of her tiny little town, ate Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup, the best) and just talked.  In…

Ribs and Tory Lanez

25/05/2016

The reason for us going to Copenhagen wasn’t only to see the beautiful city that it is, but to see Tory Lanez perform. Just before the concert we found a quite random american diner where we had ribs, yuuuum. Ridiculously messy but oh so good.Tory Lanez performed at the cinema (the venue is actually called cinema, but in danish) which was in the area where we lived. We had a few drinks and watched him perform from afar – which…

Rent a bike!

25/05/2016

After our wonderful meal at Amass we rented bikes (copenhagen city bikes) that were parked right outside the restaurant. You’ll see the bikes everywhere in Copenhagen, it’s kind of like the boris bikes in London only way better. You enter your personal and card details to register and poff, it’s yours. What’s super cool about them is that they have a tablet with built in gps where you enter addresses, places of interest or where to return the bike and…

Alessia Cara at The Electric in Brixton

24/03/2016

If you haven’t listened to Alessia Cara’s debut album DO SO NOW PLEASE THANK YOU VERY MUCH. As a birthday gift to Mikaela (who got married last weekend) I got us tickets to see Alessia at The Electric. We met shortly after work and travelled together to Brixton and arrived at 6.45. Doors opened at 7 and the queue was absolutely insane, so we decided to eat (obviously something involving food..).  David Bowie was from Brixton and there are so…
