Ribs and Tory Lanez

25/05/2016

The reason for us going to Copenhagen wasn’t only to see the beautiful city that it is, but to see Tory Lanez perform. Just before the concert we found a quite random american diner where we had ribs, yuuuum. Ridiculously messy but oh so good.Tory Lanez performed at the cinema (the venue is actually called cinema, but in danish) which was in the area where we lived. We had a few drinks and watched him perform from afar – which…

Rent a bike!

25/05/2016

After our wonderful meal at Amass we rented bikes (copenhagen city bikes) that were parked right outside the restaurant. You’ll see the bikes everywhere in Copenhagen, it’s kind of like the boris bikes in London only way better. You enter your personal and card details to register and poff, it’s yours. What’s super cool about them is that they have a tablet with built in gps where you enter addresses, places of interest or where to return the bike and…

Amass

25/05/2016

Amass restaurant is located near the water in a pretty industrial area of Copenhagen. As I mentioned, we walked for quite some time to find the place – meanwhile most people cycle or take a cab. Architecture and sunshine

24/05/2016

On friday morning we woke up bright and early because of our dear young neighbours and build work. We didn’t have any plans in the morning so I suggested we’d walk to the restaurant where I had booked lunch. The walk was slightly longer than expected but what a beautiful walk! The architecture in Copenhagen is absolutely amazing so we stopped everywhere to take pictures. Because of the sunny weather and blue skies I obviously wore black.  Oh Noma. Wish…

Our Airbnb apartment in Copenhagen

21/05/2016

80% of the holidays me and G have been on we have rented an apartment. It is usually cheaper than a hotel and you get to immerse yourself in a (usually) non touristy area. We tend to buy breakfast items at a local shop and spend money on lunch/dinners out. Our apartment in Copenhagen was on the 3rd floor of a big apartment building and filled with light. Big windows, white walls, wooden floors – basically a dream. It was literally…

It’s just food

19/05/2016

On thursday I worked a half day because ME AND G WERE GOING TO COPENHAGEN! We arrived at Gatwick starving so found ourselves a random restaurant and ordered food. The flight itself was absolutely horrendous and let me tell you why! I’ve been struggling with hay fever for the last two weeks and my worst symptom is my sinuses. It’s like my entire head have been filled with cotton and I cannot hear nor breathe. Something I learned (the hard…
