My current skincare routine and how I got rid of acne thanks to Caroline Hirons

01/11/2016

Good evening everyone! I thought I would write a little bit about my skin and my current skincare routine. In 2014 I stopped taking the pill and after about 6 months a little disease called acne knocked on the door. For someone who’d always had pretty great skin this was a shock and I genuinely struggled with it. I was super insecure and conscious about my skin and would rarely go outside my house without makeup. Like most humans I…

Featured in Fabletics beauty tips!

28/10/2016

My awesome and beautiful friend Katie wrote this article for Fabletics and she reached out to little me to get some insider tips! Growing up in Sweden means I’m quite used to -15 to sometimes -20 degrees celsius but that does not mean I can handle it, haha. I struggle as much as you and the next person. Fabletics had a photoshoot on Iceland a while back and they are now posting the most stunning images and articles from their trip..…

Friend filled thursday in Stockholm

13/10/2016

Thursday was my only “free day” so I caught up with friends. I got ready in the apartment, decided to wear my new earrings from Asos (link) and pop my hair up in a bun.  Look at Arilds wonderful view?! Usual scandi-uniform.. All black with extra layers. I met up with Anja and we went to Vigårda, a restaurant in Mood shopping centre where Linnea was waiting. Vigårda is basically a fancy burger restaurant! Yum!!  Me and Linnea 🙂 After lunch we did some…

Smartbond by L’Oreal at Jönning & Riashi

08/09/2016

On Sunday last week I visited my fave hairdresser Nadia at her salon in Fitzrovia. I was fortunate enough to be one of her first clients trying out the new Smartbond treatment by L’Oreal! Smartbond is L’Oreals answer to Olaplex and is basically a treatment to protect and strengthen the hair – usually whilst using a technical service such as bleach or colour, but Nadia suggested I tried it even though I haven’t done either. Quick lesson: Keratin is the essential…

Smoothie, hair cut and pasta

05/08/2016

On Thursday I finished work a little earlier and went to Goodge Street near Tottenham Court Road to get my hair cut by my favourite Nadia! (See previous post about her here) Before my appointment I bought a yummy berry smoothie from Roots Juicery, a organic juice and all things healthy kind of place. Nadia in the background, haha! I had my hair cut last time in early March and even though my hair wasn’t necessarily damaged I wanted a proper trim.…

Majid Jordan at Heaven, London

04/06/2016

I’ve been a fan of Majid Jordan since their first EP, which I actually prefer to their new album. On monday they performed at Heaven, under the arches by Embankment in London. We arrived pretty early cause I’m the type of person who wants to find a good spot and stay there. Because I’m so short I prefer to stand on the side, on a platform or preferably by the light/sound booth haha. Luckily my dear bf doesn’t seem to…

This week’s mani / Freestyle by Barry M

14/04/2016

I am a bit of a shopaholic and instead of buying expensive clothes and shoes I am now buying nail polishes… As I wrote in my previous nail post, I’m quite obsessed with my nails. Better that than expensive designer bags? I think so. Spring is upon us so I decided to order a few new bright colours (read: some pinks and nudes). This is a lovely dusty pink that gives just the right amount of colour without being too…

DIY Manicure / How I do my own nails

28/03/2016

I get quite a lot of comments on my nails. People seem to assume I’m one of those who visit the nail salon on the regular and get them done, but oh no. I do them myself. They’re in a almond shape, semi-long and strong. Always in a nude, pastel or dark colour. The only colour I don’t wear is red. After I quit my cabin crew job I stopped wearing red nail polish as that was one of the…

A trim with a glass of wine, please!

13/03/2016

Yesterday afternoon I finally had my hair appointment at Jönning & Riashi. The small but well-known hair salon has been open for about 3 years and is tucked inside goodge street (goodge place). As I wrote in my previous post, I have only read good reviews about this place and especially Nadia, so when she was able to fit me in for a cut I just had to say yes!  Super pretty goodge placeThe salon. I was welcomed by Nadia…
