Saturday night cap

31/07/2016

Last night I decided to drag Eva out for a little night cap. She’s been ill all week and sometimes (I find) it helps to dress up and go outside.. anything but being in the house in PJ’s. We went to Plateau, a restaurant and bar in Canada Square.Loved her furry outfit haha. We both love dressing in black but we’re still quite different in style! Canary Wharf is super quiet and sleepy on the weekends so we didn’t stay out…

TGIF | West India Quay

31/07/2016

FRIDAY! After work I met up with Mikaela and we walked straight to West India Quay, an area in Canary Wharf which doesn’t really feel like Canary Wharf. Outdoor seating, food and bar stall, boats and a wicked view. I managed to talk her into ordering Pimms as she’d never had it before?! And luckily she liked it!After two pimms each on two empty stomachs we were giggly and hungry so we walked to the restaurant next door, La Tasca! We…

Grand Bazaar

31/07/2016

On Thursday this week I attended a lovely leaving dinner for my colleague J. We’ve worked together since I joined the company and he’s been my work-brother ever since. He’s been the one I rant to, go to for advice, rant to, eat with, discuss food with.. all kinds of stuff. We decided to go to Grand Bazaar, a turkish favourite near my previous office and where J used to work. We ordered lots of various starters that we all shared,…

Lunch tip | Meal prep with chicken and sweet potatoes

26/07/2016

Last week I decided that regular square lunch boxes are boring and whenever I pinterest meal prep (pinterest addict) I see everyone using boxes with compartments. One compartment for protein, one for carbs and one for veggies.I bought these here (click) 10 for £13.95 I decided to marinate the chicken in the morning with Nandos medium sauce (if you don’t know about Nandos.. go away), spices and garlic. In the afternoon I boiled sweet potato, carrots and cooked the chicken. BAM, super…

Lunch tip | Benugo

25/07/2016

Thought I would start a new tag called “Lunch tip”. I, as pretty much everyone else, eats either out or bring lunch to work monday to friday. I try my best to keep it pretty healthy, clean and under £10. First up is Benugo on Cannon Street. Healthy salads, sandwiches in all forms and sizes and a “daily” which is usually a warm wrap with yummy filling.  I chose the chilli beef wrap with sour cream, bean mix, chipotle slaw…

After work

19/07/2016

Yesterday after work the weather was still super hot and I’m one of those people who struggle to eat warm food when it’s that warm outside. I made two wraps with chicken, avocado and salad and placed my bum on our terrace where I did some blogging and caught up with my flatmate EvaSunglasses from Asos, macbook cover from AmazonHere’s a good snack tip: Frozen grapes! Pop some clean grapes in your freezer and bam you’ve got yourself some healthy…
