It’s the little things

22/03/2016

For lunch I decided to cross the road and buy a sandwich at Pret. Now, some of you may or may not know, but staff members are allowed to give out free teas and coffees. It’s been written about here and I personally think it’s nice. But then again, I’ve been given a free tea about 3 times during my time in London.  Anyway! It made my day. I’ve had two stressful days with my manager absent and so this…

Vietnam / day 2 in Mui Ne

22/03/2016

Day 2 in Mui Ne, Vietnam. The hotels restaurant is located in the main building in the middle of the complex. They serve a massive breakfast buffet with both western and asian foods. Because the weather was very warm I usually ate fruits and nibbled on pancakes or croissants. Wearing a beautiful kaftan dress from Zara and sandals from DuneExotic fruits and pancakes After breakfast me and the younger part of the family spent some time by the pool playing…

Queens Park farmers market and sleepy brunchers

20/03/2016

GOOD EVENING! I’m terribly sorry for the awful update. Promise I’ll make it up to you! After a super eventful friday and saturday (pictures coming) this is exactly what my body, mind and soul needed. I travelled to Queens Park this morning to meet up with Karla and Nigel, some of the bestest people I know. We were all extremely tired after only a few hours sleep, but were in good spirit 🙂 The Farmers Market sells everything from fresh…

The perfect snack – Organic coconut chips

14/03/2016

I’ve been trying to find some healthier snack options for work and at home, to replace the copious amount of chocolate and cookies I eat at the office.. It’s not easy, I’ll tell you that. Anyway. I absolutely love coconut. I drink the juice, cook with the oil and even use it on my body (I make my own body oil), so why not introduce it as a snack as well? I ordered this from Amazon and didn’t think one…

Breakfast at Gail’s

13/03/2016

For some reason I woke up at 7am this lovely morning thinking it was Monday.. Imagine the relief and happiness when I realised it’s sunday, haha! I had scheduled to meet my lovely friend Nigel (might see my little face on his website.. woop!) at 11am and because I didn’t know how to actually get to Blackheath I left pretty early. Since it was sunny I took a longer walk to a different DLR station and travelled from there. My new…

A trim with a glass of wine, please!

13/03/2016

Yesterday afternoon I finally had my hair appointment at Jönning & Riashi. The small but well-known hair salon has been open for about 3 years and is tucked inside goodge street (goodge place). As I wrote in my previous post, I have only read good reviews about this place and especially Nadia, so when she was able to fit me in for a cut I just had to say yes!  Super pretty goodge placeThe salon. I was welcomed by Nadia…

It’s the weekend!

12/03/2016

Tights from Alexander Wang x H&M, Nike trainersI’ve just finished a horrific grid strong class at Virgin Walbrook (the best gym in the city by the way) and I am now on my way home to eat and get ready. Can’t believe I am writing this but I’ve got a hair appointment later today! Wahhhhhh. Even my best friend Eva freaked out when I mentioned my weekend plans. Those who know me well knows the reason I’ve got long hair…

Vietnam / day 1 in Mui Ne

11/03/2016

So sorry for the absence of vietnam posts.. but here we go! Our first day in Mui Ne was spent by the pool. As you may know, south east asian people prefer not to tan so I was pretty much the only adult in the pool – fine by me! During the afternoon we all relaxed at home and got ready for dinner. That’s when I started taking pictures haha Beautiful sunrise from our balcony We walked to a neighbouring seafood…

Date night at Sketch

10/03/2016

Me and my boyfriend try to arrange date nights during busy weeks and last night we went to Sketch on Conduit Street near Oxford Circus. We reserved a table in the gallery, which you can sort of see below. Staff greeted us everywhere and were super attentive and friendly – a huge plus for the both of us.  Everything pink! Sounds slightly cheesy but it is absolutely stunningSurrounded by illustrations by David Shrigley   A beautiful vanilla cocktail for me…
